Urgently Hiring Caregivers
About The Position
Exhava Home Care is hiring caregivers to provide compassionate, respectful, and dependable care to older adults in their homes. Caregivers help clients maintain independence, safety, comfort, and quality of life by assisting with daily living and personal care, preparing meals, and providing companionship. The role involves following each client's individualized care plan, preserving dignity, privacy, and independence, monitoring safety, and promptly communicating concerns or changes to the care team. Caregivers must be comfortable providing personal care to male and female clients and may work AM, PM, or NOC shifts, including weekend shifts when needed. Shifts may be 4 hours or 8–12 hours, depending on availability.
Requirements
- Caregiving experience; previous caregiver experience is preferred.
- Comfort providing personal care to both male and female clients.
- Dependability, attentiveness, compassion, and a safety-minded approach.
- Ability to communicate and report when something happens or when a client's condition or needs change.
- Availability Monday through Friday or Sunday, and for weekend shifts when needed.
- Willingness to pick up AM, PM, and NOC shifts.
- Availability for 4-hour or 8–12-hour shifts, depending on availability.
- Active California Home Care Aide registration.
- Current TB test results or chest X-ray documentation.
- Legally eligible to work in the U.S., with valid ID and Social Security card, etc.
- Valid driver's license and active car insurance.

Responsibilities
- Assist clients with bathing, showering, grooming, toileting, and other daily living activities.
- Provide a safe, comfortable, and supportive environment for clients.
- Provide companionship and emotional support.
- Provide personal care based on each client's individual needs.
- Prepare meals and assist with feeding when needed.
- Monitor client safety and report concerns or changes.
- Follow the client's individualized care plan.
- Promptly communicate with the care team about incidents or changes in a client's condition or needs.
- Maintain client dignity, privacy, and independence.
