About The Position

Right at Home is hiring compassionate Caregivers, Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs), and Home Health Aides (HHAs) to support seniors and adults with disabilities in their homes. Available shifts are between 7 a.m. and 5 p.m. The role involves helping clients with daily living, personal care, household tasks, meals, errands, appointments, medication reminders, prescribed exercises, dementia care, and companionship. The position is available full-time or part-time in West Chester, Pennsylvania.

Requirements

• One year of experience as a caregiver.
• High school graduate or GED certificate.
• Ability to lift and move up to 30 pounds independently.
• Proficient in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Valid driver's license and personal vehicle.
• Successful completion of a background check.
• Current TB test.

Nice To Haves

• CNA license, Home Health Aide certification, or Personal Care Aide certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with mobility and transfers within the home.
• Perform light housekeeping, including vacuuming, dusting, mopping, washing dishes, laundry, and bathroom cleaning.
• Prepare meals and snacks according to client preferences.
• Accompany clients on errands and medical appointments.
• Provide personal care, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and shaving.
• Offer medication reminders.
• Support prescribed range-of-motion exercises.
• Provide dementia care and companionship through activities such as reading, music, and puzzles.
