About The Position
Preferred Care at Home is placing CNAs with local seniors in Fort Lauderdale. Assignments are open immediately, and candidates who are ready can start within days after completing onboarding. Interviews are conducted by video. The role involves supporting clients with dementia and/or Alzheimer’s disorders. The position offers full-time or part-time hours, up to 30 hours per week, with pay of $16 to $20 per hour, weekly pay, and direct deposit.
Requirements
- Have an active CNA license or certification.
- Have current Assistance with Self-Administration of Medication CEU.
- Have current HIV/AIDS CEU.
- Have current CPR / First Aid certification.
- Have current Alzheimer’s Disease and Dementia-Related Disorders CEU.
- Pass a Level 2 background check.
Responsibilities
- Help clients with bathing, dressing, toileting, meals, and mobility.
- Assist with transfers and take vital signs.
- Document care and report changes in condition.
