About The Position
Silverado Hermann Park is hiring a full-time caregiver to provide hands-on support to residents living with Alzheimer’s, dementia, and other memory-impairing conditions. The role combines empathy, reliability, and relationship-building to help residents live with dignity and joy in a safe, respectful, and engaging environment. The schedule is a PM shift, on variable days, from 2:00 PM to 10:30 PM.
Requirements
- High school diploma, GED, or educational equivalent preferred.
- Experience caring for individuals with Alzheimer’s, dementia, or other debilitating conditions is preferred but not required.
- Reliable transportation to meet attendance and punctuality standards.
- Effective verbal and written English communication skills.
- Able to walk, bend, and lift up to 50 pounds.
- Comfortable working around animals and pets.

Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate assistance with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and dining.
- Build meaningful relationships with residents, families, and fellow team members.
- Support residents with memory impairments in a safe, respectful, and engaging environment.
- Maintain accurate care records and report changes to the nursing team.
