Full Time Caregiver (PM)

About The Position

Silverado Northshore is hiring a caregiver to provide hands-on support to residents living with Alzheimer’s, dementia, and other memory-impairing conditions. The role calls for compassion, reliability, patience, integrity, a willingness to learn, and the ability to work as part of a team. Caregivers help residents live with dignity and joy by building relationships and supporting them in a safe, respectful, and engaging environment. This is a full-time PM-shift position scheduled Saturday through Wednesday, 2:00 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. The anticipated pay range is $16–$20 USD. Employment offers are contingent on a background check, drug screening, physical, and TB testing if applicable. Silverado uses E-Verify to confirm work authorization.

Requirements

High school diploma, GED, or educational equivalent preferred.
Reliable transportation to meet attendance and punctuality standards.
Effective verbal and written communication in English.
Ability to walk, bend, and lift up to 50 pounds.
Comfort working around animals and pets.

Nice To Haves

Experience caring for individuals with Alzheimer’s, dementia, or other debilitating conditions; preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

Provide compassionate care and assistance with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and dining.
Build meaningful relationships with residents, families, and fellow team members.
Support residents with memory impairments in a safe, respectful, and engaging environment.
Maintain accurate care records and report changes to the nursing team.
