About The Position

Silverado Barton Springs is hiring a full-time Caregiver to provide hands-on support to residents living with Alzheimer’s, dementia, and other memory-impairing conditions. The role emphasizes empathy, reliability, relationship-building, and helping residents live with dignity and joy in a safe, respectful, and engaging environment. The schedule is a PM shift, four days on and two days off, from 2:00 PM to 10:30 PM. The anticipated pay range is $19–$23 USD.

Requirements

• High school diploma, GED, or educational equivalent preferred.
• Reliable transportation to meet attendance and punctuality standards.
• Effective verbal and written communication in English.
• Ability to walk, bend, and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Comfort working around animals and pets.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate care and assistance with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and dining.
• Build meaningful relationships with residents, families, and fellow team members.
• Support residents with memory impairments in a safe, respectful, and engaging environment.
• Maintain accurate care records and report changes to the nursing team.
