About The Position

As a caregiver with Trove Home Care, you will provide hands-on assistance with activities of daily living, helping clients maintain their dignity, comfort, and independence in their homes. You will provide individualized support based on each client's needs and care plan, including personal care, companionship, meal assistance, light housekeeping, and safety observation. The role requires compassion, dependability, clear communication, reliable transportation, and a commitment to respecting clients' privacy and preferences.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with bathing, showering, grooming, oral care, and other personal hygiene needs.
• Help clients select appropriate clothing and assist with dressing and undressing.
• Assist with bathroom use, personal hygiene, and incontinence care.
• Assist clients with walking, repositioning, and transfers between beds, chairs, and other surfaces according to their care plans and training.
• Prepare meals, assist with feeding when needed, and encourage proper nutrition and hydration.
• Remind clients to take medications according to their established routine and care plan.
• Provide conversation, emotional support, and meaningful engagement.
• Help maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable home environment through light housekeeping.
• Monitor clients for changes in condition, report concerns to the care team, and follow established safety procedures.
• Communicate clearly with clients, families, and the Trove Care team.
• Follow individualized care plans and respect each client's dignity, privacy, and preferences.
