About The Position
At Sunrise Senior Living, caregivers provide hands-on support to residents while building meaningful relationships and helping improve seniors’ quality of life. The role includes assisting residents with activities of daily living, promoting safety, dignity, and independence, and engaging them in conversation and daily activities. Caregivers follow Individualized Service Plans, document changes, support dining services, and help maintain a clean, welcoming environment. In Memory Care, caregivers create enriching experiences for residents with memory loss. The position offers paid training and career growth opportunities.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED.
- At least 18 years of age.
- CPR/First Aid certification, or ability to obtain it.
- Compassion, reliability, and strong communication skills.
Responsibilities
- Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, mobility, and personal care.
- Follow Individualized Service Plans (ISP) and document changes.
- Promote residents’ safety, dignity, and independence.
- Engage residents through conversation and daily activities.
- Support dining services and maintain a clean, welcoming environment.
- Communicate effectively with families and care leaders.
- In Memory Care, create enriching experiences for residents with memory loss.
