About The Position
Guardian Angel Senior Services is hiring caregivers in Hull, Massachusetts. Applicants at all experience levels are welcome, including experienced Home Health Aides (HHA) and Certified Nursing Assistants (CNA), as well as people new to caregiving who are compassionate and willing to learn. The company offers training and assistance with earning official HHA certification. Caregivers support clients in their homes with personal care, medication reminders, meal preparation, light housekeeping and laundry, errands, companionship, and mobility. They are also expected to respond calmly and responsibly in emergencies. Scheduling may include full-time, part-time, per-diem, or short shifts on weekdays, evenings, and weekends, with scheduling intended to accommodate availability.
Requirements
- Compassionate, reliable, and respectful.
- Strong communication skills.
- Reliable transportation to get to client homes.
- Willingness to follow health and safety guidelines.
- No prior caregiving experience is required; training is provided.
Responsibilities
- Assist clients with personal care, bathing, dressing, and hygiene.
- Provide medication reminders.
- Prepare meals.
- Perform light housekeeping and laundry.
- Run errands such as grocery shopping.
- Offer companionship and conversation.
- Support client mobility and safe movement around the home.
- Respond calmly and responsibly in emergencies.
- Follow health and safety guidelines.
