Caregiver (Weekends) - Senior Living Community - Spring Lake Park
About The Position
Suite Living Senior Care is hiring Caregivers for its Spring Lake Park assisted living and memory care community. Caregivers provide personalized, person-centered care and support to residents, helping them with daily living and contributing to their safety, comfort, and engagement. Candidates may be experienced or newly certified, but must have at least six months of caregiving experience. Paid onboarding training is provided at the Arden Hills, Minnesota training center, along with ongoing support and development from experienced leadership. The role is offered across part-time and full-time schedules, with weekend coverage on AM and PM shifts; all shifts require availability every other weekend.
Requirements
- At least six months of caregiving experience; assisted living or memory care experience is preferred.
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Ability to pass medications; training is provided.
- Must be available to work every other weekend for all shifts.
- Team player with excellent communication, empathy, and reliability.
Nice To Haves
- CNA certification is preferred but not required.
- CPR/First Aid knowledge is preferred.
- Experience in assisted living or memory care is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Support residents with mobility and transfers within the facility.
- Assist with medication administration; training is provided.
- Engage residents in meaningful activities and conversation.
- Provide light housekeeping and meal assistance.
- Monitor residents and report changes in condition to the leadership team.
- Respond quickly and calmly in emergency situations.
