About The Position
Practical Care Continuum is seeking a caring and dedicated caregiver to assist a client with daily needs in the comfort of their home. The role involves providing compassionate, respectful support and helping maintain a safe, clean, and comfortable environment. The schedule is Monday through Sunday, 9:30 AM–1:30 PM, for four hours per day; applicants must be available for the scheduled days.
Requirements
- Compassionate, patient, and dependable.
- Reliable transportation and punctuality.
- Strong communication skills.
- Ability to follow instructions and provide safe, respectful care.
- Must be able to complete the required hiring process and applicable background checks.
Nice To Haves
- Previous caregiving experience preferred.
Responsibilities
- Assist with personal care and activities of daily living as needed.
- Provide companionship and meaningful interaction.
- Assist with toileting, bathing, dressing, and grooming as assigned.
- Prepare simple meals and assist with feeding when needed.
- Perform light housekeeping, laundry, and tidying of the client's living space.
- Provide medication reminders when included in the care plan.
- Help maintain a clean, comfortable, and safe environment.
- Follow the client's care plan and communicate changes or concerns to the office.
- Treat every client with dignity, patience, and respect.
