About The Position
TheKey is hiring experienced caregivers to provide one-to-one in-home care to aging adults in McMinnville and surrounding communities. Caregivers support clients with personal care, light housekeeping, transportation, and companionship. The company emphasizes compassionate, respectful care and provides local team support, training, and career development opportunities. The role is hiring for weekend coverage, weekday daytime shifts, and overnights. Full-time and part-time schedules are available, with flexible scheduling. Requirements
- At least 6 months of professional caregiving experience.
- Experience with Alzheimer's disease or dementia.
- Empathy, compassion, and kindness.
- Ability to use sound judgment and remain calm in a variety of situations.
- Reliability, dependability, and punctuality.
- At least 18 years of age.
- Basic computer skills.
- Ability to drive clients, with a vehicle, car insurance, and vehicle registration.
- Must comply with state background screening requirements.
- Must be eligible to work in the United States.
Responsibilities
- Assist clients with dressing, bathing, grooming, and meals.
- Perform light housekeeping, including basic cleaning, laundry, and organizing.
- Drive clients to appointments, run errands, and shop for groceries.
- Provide companionship and social and emotional support through activities such as games and puzzles.
