About The Position

TheKey is hiring experienced caregivers to provide one-to-one, private-pay in-home care for aging adults in Welches and surrounding communities. Caregivers assist clients in their homes with personal care, light housekeeping, transportation, and companionship. The role includes opportunities for weekend coverage, weekday daytime shifts, and overnight shifts; full-time and part-time schedules are available. Caregivers must meet state background screening requirements and be eligible to work in the United States. Compensation, benefits, bonuses, and additional eligibility requirements may vary by state and location.

Requirements

At least 6 months of professional caregiving experience.
Experience with Alzheimer’s disease or dementia.
Empathy, compassion, and kindness.
Ability to use sound judgment and remain calm in a variety of situations.
Reliability, dependability, and punctuality.
At least 18 years of age.
Basic computer skills.
Ability to drive clients, with a vehicle, car insurance, and vehicle registration.
Compliance with state background screening requirements.
Eligibility to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

Assist clients with dressing, bathing, grooming, and meals.
Perform light housekeeping, including basic cleaning, laundry, and organizing.
Drive clients to appointments, run errands, and shop for groceries.
Provide companionship and social and emotional support through games, puzzles, and other activities.
