Experienced Caregivers Needed
About The Position
TheKey is hiring experienced caregivers to provide one-to-one, private-pay in-home care for aging adults in Welches and surrounding communities. The role includes personal care, light housekeeping, transportation, and companionship in clients’ homes. TheKey describes its local teams as providing caregivers with support while they help seniors maintain quality of life, health, and well-being. Full-time and part-time schedules are available, with current hiring needs including weekend coverage, weekday daytime shifts, and overnights. Requirements
- At least 6 months of professional caregiving experience.
- Experience with Alzheimer’s disease or dementia.
- Empathy, compassion, and kindness.
- Ability to use sound judgment and remain calm in a variety of situations.
- Reliability, dependability, and punctuality.
- At least 18 years of age.
- Basic computer skills.
- Ability to drive clients, with a vehicle, car insurance, and vehicle registration.
- Compliance with state background-screening requirements.
- Eligibility to work in the United States.
Responsibilities
- Assist clients one-to-one with personal care, including dressing, bathing, grooming, and meals.
- Perform light housekeeping, including basic cleaning, laundry, and organizing.
- Drive clients to appointments, run errands, and shop for groceries.
- Provide companionship and social and emotional support through games, puzzles, and other activities.
