About The Position
The Caregiver (CNA/CHHA) assists residents with daily living needs according to their care plans. Duties include personal care, food service, housekeeping, laundry, behavior management, socialization, and activities. This is a part-time, non-exempt, hourly position reporting to the Health & Wellness Director. The schedule is every Friday through Monday, either 7 a.m.–3 p.m. or 3 p.m.–11 p.m. The stated compensation range is $21.00–$22.00 per hour.
Requirements
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or Certified Home Health Aid (CHHA).
- Knowledge and experience working with the elderly population.
Nice To Haves
- Preferred experience with dementia.
Responsibilities
- Provide resident care, including bathing, dressing, toileting, and feeding, as outlined in each resident’s care plan.
- Maintain residents’ safety, comfort, dignity, and confidentiality.
- Escort residents to meals and activities.
- Ensure assigned residents are clean, neatly dressed and groomed, safe, and fed during assigned shifts.
- Document services provided to assigned residents during the shift.
- Immediately report any change in a resident’s condition to a supervisor.
