About The Position

Aloma Healthcare, Inc. is hiring an experienced caregiver for a client in Willis, Texas. The caregiver will provide compassionate, one-on-one support to a senior, including personal care, mobility assistance, meal preparation, light housekeeping, and companionship. The role may also involve assisting people with disabilities, injuries, mobility difficulties, or illnesses. Applicants should be dedicated to providing high-quality care and be able to work independently while following health and safety standards.

Requirements

At least one year of prior experience in healthcare, hospitality, or an in-home care environment.
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation every day.
Ability to perform all essential job functions with or without accommodations.
Ability to act compassionately and supportively.
Willingness to enforce health and safety standards.
High school diploma or equivalent, or experience as a caregiver.
Ability to work independently, manage tasks efficiently, and stay organized.
Pleasant, customer-friendly, self-starting attitude.
Enjoy working one-on-one with clients and be eager to improve and learn new skills.
Take pride in providing high-quality care.

Nice To Haves

Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) preferred.

Responsibilities

Assist clients with personal hygiene, including showering, bathing, dressing, and eating.
Help clients move around the home and accompany them outside the home, including to appointments, on walks, or grocery shopping.
Provide personal care and hygiene assistance, including incontinence care.
Plan and prepare meals and assist clients with meals, including serving.
Perform housekeeping tasks, including laundry and light house cleaning.
Provide companionship and activities that support daily living.
Report unusual incidents and respond quickly and responsibly in emergencies.
