About The Position

Aloma Healthcare, Inc. has an immediate opening for an experienced caregiver serving a client in Spring, Texas. The caregiver will provide compassionate, one-on-one support to an older adult, including personal care, mobility assistance, meal preparation, light housekeeping, and companionship. The agency is certified, licensed, insured, and bonded, and is based in The Woodlands, Texas. The role is suited to a dedicated caregiver who supports people with disabilities, injuries, mobility difficulties, or illnesses.

Requirements

At least one year of prior experience in a healthcare, hospitality, or in-home care environment.
A valid driver’s license and reliable transportation every day.
Ability to perform all essential job functions with or without accommodations.
Ability to act in a compassionate and supportive manner.
Willingness to enforce health and safety standards.
High school diploma or equivalent, or experience as a caregiver.
Pleasant, customer-friendly, self-starting, and organized, with the ability to manage tasks efficiently independently.
Enjoys working one-on-one with clients and is eager to improve and learn new skills.
Takes pride in providing high-quality care.

Nice To Haves

Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) preferred.

Responsibilities

Help clients with personal hygiene and basic needs, including showering, bathing, dressing, and eating.
Assist clients with mobility at home and outside the home, including attending appointments, walking, and grocery shopping.
Provide personal care and hygiene assistance.
Plan and prepare meals, and assist clients with meals, including serving them.
Perform housekeeping duties, such as laundry and light cleaning.
Report unusual incidents and respond quickly and responsibly in emergencies.
Provide activities and assistance essential to daily living.
Offer companion care as needed.
