About The Position
Aloma Healthcare, Inc. has an immediate opening for an experienced caregiver serving a client in Livingston, Texas. The role provides compassionate, one-on-one assistance to seniors and people with disabilities, injuries, mobility difficulties, or illnesses. The caregiver will support personal care and hygiene, mobility, meal preparation and assistance, household tasks, and companion care, while helping maintain health and safety standards and responding responsibly to emergencies. The agency is certified, licensed, insured, and bonded, and is based in The Woodlands, Texas. Pay is $11–$16 per hour, based on experience.
Requirements
- At least one year of prior experience in a healthcare, hospitality, or in-home care environment.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation every day.
- Ability to perform all essential job functions with or without accommodations.
- Ability to act in a compassionate and supportive manner.
- Willingness to enforce health and safety standards.
- High school diploma or equivalent, or experience as a caregiver.
- Pleasant, customer-friendly, self-starting, and organized, with the ability to manage tasks efficiently independently.
- Enjoy working one-on-one with clients and be eager to improve and learn new skills.
- Take pride in providing high-quality care and deliver a caring, above-and-beyond client experience.

Responsibilities
- Provide personal hygiene assistance, including showering, bathing, dressing, and eating.
- Help the client with mobility at home and outside the home, including doctor’s appointments, walks, and grocery shopping.
- Assist with personal care and hygiene.
- Plan and prepare meals, and assist clients with meals, including serving.
- Perform housekeeping duties, including laundry and light house cleaning.
- Provide incontinence care and some companion care.
- Report unusual incidents and act quickly and responsibly in emergencies.
- Assist with activities essential to daily living.
