About The Position

Aloma Healthcare, Inc. has an immediate opening for an experienced caregiver serving a client in Livingston, Texas. The role provides compassionate, one-on-one assistance to a senior, including personal care, mobility support, meal preparation, light housekeeping, and companionship. The family also requests assistance with laundry, incontinence care, bathing, and cooking. Applicants should be dedicated to supporting people with disabilities, injuries, mobility difficulties, or illnesses.

Requirements

At least one year of prior experience in healthcare, hospitality, or an in-home care environment.
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation every day.
Ability to perform all essential job functions with or without accommodations.
Ability to act in a compassionate and supportive manner.
Willingness to enforce health and safety standards.
High school diploma or equivalent, or experience as a caregiver.
CNA preferred.
Pleasant, customer-friendly, self-starting, organized, and able to manage tasks efficiently independently.
Enjoys working one-on-one with clients and is eager to improve and learn new skills.
Takes pride in providing high-quality care and delivering exceptional client service.

Responsibilities

Assist clients with personal hygiene and basic needs, including showering, bathing, dressing, and eating.
Help clients with mobility around the home and outside the home, including attending appointments, taking walks, and grocery shopping.
Provide personal care and hygiene assistance.
Plan and prepare meals, and assist clients with meals, including serving.
Perform housekeeping duties, including laundry and light house cleaning.
Provide incontinence care and companionship.
Report unusual incidents and respond quickly and responsibly to emergencies.
Support activities essential to clients’ daily living.
