About The Position
Right at Home SLC is hiring part-time caregivers to support seniors and adults with disabilities in maintaining independence and quality of life at home. Caregivers provide one-on-one assistance and companionship on weekday and weekend shifts, helping clients with daily needs and fostering their well-being.
Requirements
- Must be 18 or older.
- Valid driver's license and access to a car.
- Eligible to work in the U.S.
- Able to pass a background check.
Nice To Haves
- Experience with dementia or behavioral care.
- Familiarity with Hoyer lifts and gait belts.
- CNA or Dementia Certification.
Responsibilities
- Offer companionship and emotional support.
- Assist clients with hygiene and mobility.
- Prepare meals and perform light housekeeping.
- Provide transportation to appointments or outings.
- Give medication reminders.
- Build meaningful connections that foster client well-being.
Benefits
- Competitive pay of $17.00–$18.25 per hour, based on experience, CNA, or Dementia Certification.
- Minimum $27.50 per shift.
- Training/GUIDE Respite Rate of $17.00 per hour.
- Raises after 60 days and annual reviews.
- Generous bonus after 60 days for employees working 20 or more hours per week who complete required documents.
- Mileage reimbursement between client visits.
