About The Position

Caring Senior Service is hiring caregivers in Hillsboro, Whitney, and surrounding Hill County communities. Caregivers help seniors remain safe, comfortable, and independent in their own homes. The role involves providing practical assistance and companionship tailored to each client’s needs, while noticing and communicating when something may be wrong. The employer describes a supportive workplace where caregivers are treated with respect, listened to, recognized, and encouraged to learn and grow. Pay is $14–$16 per hour, and overnight shifts are available.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of caregiving experience.
• A driver's license.
• Reliable transportation.
• Compassionate, dependable, and professional approach.
• Genuine enjoyment of helping others.

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience in home care, senior care, or assisted living.
• Previous CNA or PCA work.
• Experience caring for a family member.

Responsibilities

• Provide companionship and conversation.
• Prepare meals.
• Perform light housekeeping.
• Assist with personal care and hygiene.
• Help clients with dressing and grooming.
• Assist with mobility and transfers.
• Provide medication reminders.
• Run errands and provide transportation.
• Support clients with Alzheimer’s disease and dementia.
• Help seniors remain safe, comfortable, and independent in their homes.
• Observe clients and share relevant observations or feedback.
