About The Position

Visiting Angels is seeking compassionate, dependable caregivers to help seniors remain safe, comfortable, and independent in their own homes in the Morgantown area. Caregivers support clients with everyday activities and provide companionship and reassurance to clients and their families. Applicants may be experienced caregivers or new to caregiving; the company provides training, support, and resources, including orientation, in-field shadowing, and a six-week mentor program.

Requirements

Compassionate, reliable, and trustworthy.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Valid driver's license and auto insurance.
Reliable transportation.
Ability to lift up to 25 pounds.

Responsibilities

Assist with personal care, including bathing, dressing, and toileting or incontinence care.
Provide mobility assistance and help clients with transfers.
Give medication reminders.
Transport clients to appointments and errands.
Prepare meals and perform light housekeeping.
Provide companionship and emotional support.
