About The Position

Preferred Care at Home of Wake Forest, Zebulon, and Henderson is hiring caregivers to provide one-on-one care to seniors in their homes. Caregivers help clients maintain independence while receiving compassionate care. Immediate openings are available, especially for overnight and weekend shifts, with day and evening shifts also listed. Full-time and part-time opportunities are available in Wendell, Zebulon, Knightdale, Wake Forest, Rolesville, and Louisburg.

Requirements

• CNA, PCA, or HHA certification.
• At least 1 year of experience caring for seniors in a facility or home setting.

• Ability to pass a background screening.

Nice To Haves

• Home care or facility experience is preferred.
• Dementia care experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs).
• Help clients with bathing, dressing, grooming, and personal hygiene.
• Provide safe transfers and mobility support.
• Provide companionship and emotional support.
• Give medication reminders.
• Prepare meals and perform light housekeeping.
• Observe and report changes in clients’ conditions.
