About The Position

Silverado Rolling Hills is hiring a part-time Caregiver to provide hands-on support to residents living with Alzheimer’s, dementia, and other memory-impairing conditions. The role focuses on compassionate daily care, relationship-building, and helping residents live with dignity and joy in a safe, respectful, and engaging environment. The schedule is an AM shift, 6:00 AM–2:30 PM, on variable days. The role involves active work, including walking, bending, and lifting up to 50 pounds. Employees must be comfortable working around animals and pets and have reliable transportation to meet attendance and punctuality standards. Offers are contingent on a background check, drug screening, physical, and TB testing if applicable. Silverado uses E-Verify to confirm work authorization.

Requirements

Reliable transportation to meet attendance and punctuality standards.
Effective verbal and written communication in English.
Ability to perform active work involving walking, bending, and lifting up to 50 pounds.
Comfort working around animals and pets.

Nice To Haves

High school diploma, GED, or educational equivalent preferred.
Experience caring for individuals with Alzheimer’s, dementia, or other debilitating conditions preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

Provide compassionate care and assistance with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and dining.
Build meaningful relationships with residents, families, and fellow team members.
