About The Position

Silverado is hiring a compassionate Caregiver at Silverado Brea to provide hands-on support to residents living with Alzheimer’s, dementia, and other memory-impairing conditions. The role focuses on empathy, reliability, and relationship-building to create meaningful moments and help residents live with dignity and joy. Caregivers work in a team-focused environment and support residents in a safe, respectful, and engaging setting. This is a part-time AM-shift position scheduled Thursday through Friday. The anticipated pay range is $19–$22 USD. Paid training and growth opportunities are offered. Employment offers are contingent on a background check, drug screening, physical, and TB testing if applicable.

Requirements

Reliable transportation to meet attendance and punctuality standards.
Effective verbal and written English communication skills.
Ability to perform an active role involving walking, bending, and lifting up to 50 lbs.
Comfort working around animals and pets.

Nice To Haves

High school diploma, GED, or educational equivalent preferred.
Experience caring for individuals with Alzheimer’s, dementia, or other debilitating conditions is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

Provide compassionate care and assistance with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and dining.
Build meaningful relationships with residents, families, and fellow team members.
Support residents with memory impairments in a safe, respectful, and engaging environment.
Maintain accurate care records and report changes to the nursing team.
