About The Position

Pleasant Point Senior Living is seeking First Shift Caregivers to support residents with activities of daily living, including personal hygiene, socialization, cognition, and physical health. The caregiver encourages resident independence and choice and preserves resident dignity through professional conduct and interactions. The role also involves delivering positive customer service, communicating carefully and promptly, maintaining confidentiality, participating in facility in-services, and helping new staff learn their tasks and responsibilities.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• CBRF Certified.
• Meet age requirements according to facility policy and state regulations.

Nice To Haves

• Prior direct care experience.
• Current CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Support residents with activities of daily living, including personal hygiene, socialization, cognition, and physical health.
• Encourage resident independence and support resident choice while preserving dignity through professional conduct and interactions.
• Provide positive customer service by being approachable, friendly, and willing to assist others.
• Complete work with personal initiative and without constant supervision.
• Attend work consistently as scheduled and address work-related problems with the appropriate individuals.
• Listen carefully, respond thoughtfully and sensitively, and report information accurately and promptly to appropriate people.
• Maintain confidentiality of resident and staff information.
• Maintain a neat, clean appearance.
• Participate in designated facility in-services.
• Help new staff learn job tasks and responsibilities.
