About The Position
Apex Home Care Services of PA is hiring dependable, compassionate caregivers in Pennsylvania to support clients in maintaining their independence, dignity, and comfort. Caregivers provide everyday assistance while treating each client with patience, attention, and respect. The position is available full-time or part-time in Waynesboro, Pennsylvania, with pay of $13–$15 per hour.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Compassionate and empathetic approach to caregiving.
- Ability to handle physical tasks and provide mobility assistance.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to follow care plans and adapt to changing needs.
- Good problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Nice To Haves
- Previous experience in caregiving or a related field.
- Personal transportation; preferred but not required.
Responsibilities
- Assist clients with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients.
- Help with meal preparation, feeding, and medication reminders.
- Assist with mobility, including transferring and positioning clients.
- Perform light housekeeping tasks, such as cleaning and laundry.
- Monitor and report changes in clients’ physical or emotional conditions.
- Follow care plans and communicate with healthcare providers as needed.
- Maintain client confidentiality and adhere to privacy policies.
