About The Position

As a Caregiver in a day program at Sevita, you will help people grow, learn, and live well while building meaningful relationships with the individuals you serve. You will support participants in pursuing developmental goals, taking part in their communities, and enjoying favorite activities. The role includes assisting with personal hygiene and supporting individuals who may have behavioral challenges and other complex needs. The job is suited to someone who is compassionate, patient, and finds meaning in this work.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• A valid driver's license and access to a registered vehicle with proof of insurance.
• Communication, adaptability, multitasking, teamwork, and time-management skills.
• Patience, compassion, reliability, and responsibility.

Nice To Haves

• Six months of experience in human services, direct care, or care coordination is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Build meaningful relationships with the individuals served.
• Help participants take part in the community and enjoy their favorite activities.
• Support participants with developmental goals such as budgeting, exercise, and nutrition.
• Assist individuals with personal hygiene.
• Support individuals with behavioral challenges and other complex needs.
