About The Position
FirstLight Home Care is seeking a dependable and compassionate caregiver to assist a couple in their home in the Nashville area. The wife has early-onset Alzheimer's and enjoys cooking, while the husband has Parkinson's disease and balance difficulties. This is primarily a supportive and companion care role, focusing on encouraging independence while providing necessary assistance. The home is equipped with two stair lifts.

Responsibilities
- Provide medication reminders.
- Assist with meal preparation and cooking alongside the wife.
- Encourage hydration.
- Perform light housekeeping and laundry.
- Make the bed and check linens.
- Assist with grocery delivery.
- Encourage walking and exercises.
- Provide companionship and conversation.
- Run occasional errands or accompany clients to appointments.
- Assist with trash and mail.
