About The Position
Visiting Angels is seeking dependable and compassionate Caregivers to provide companionship and hands-on assistance to clients in their homes. Caregivers help seniors with personal care and activities of daily living, meals, light housekeeping, medication reminders, errands, and transportation. The role also involves documenting visits using a smartphone.
Requirements
- Professional or personal caregiving experience preferred.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Compassionate, patient, reliable, and professional.
- Genuine desire to help others.
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds.
- Valid driver's license.
- Reliable vehicle.
- Active automobile insurance required.
- Ability to pass a criminal background check.
- Comfortable using a smartphone for clock-in/out and documentation.
Nice To Haves
- Dementia/Alzheimer's experience is a plus.
- CNA/LNA certification is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Provide personal care, including bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, and feeding.
- Offer companionship and conversation.
- Prepare meals and assist clients with meals.
- Perform light housekeeping and laundry.
- Provide medication reminders.
- Complete grocery shopping and errands.
- Transport clients to appointments.
- Assist with activities of daily living.
- Document visits using a smartphone.
