About The Position

Homewatch CareGivers is hiring compassionate caregivers for in-home care clients across Orange County, LA County, and the Inland Empire. The agency has a range of cases and shifts available, including day, night, and overnight shifts, with shift lengths ranging from 4 to 12 hours. Full-time and part-time schedules are available, and the posting states that work can begin immediately. Pay starts at $20–$22 per hour based on experience, with overtime available for some cases.

Caregivers support clients of all ages, including seniors, children, veterans, people with chronic illnesses, and those recovering from medical procedures. The agency emphasizes empowering clients and helping them feel engaged and respected. It provides paid training through a professionally developed training platform, as well as support from care staff. The agency is independently owned and operated.

Requirements

• At least 6 months of professional caregiving experience is preferred, either in a facility or with a home care agency.
• Reliable vehicle and valid driver's license.
• High school diploma or GED.
• HCA license with the State of California is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Communicate ongoing care needs and collaborate with families and care staff.
• Maintain a healthy and comfortable living environment.
• Assist clients with daily living activities.
• Plan and prepare meals.
• Perform light housekeeping and laundry.
• Assist with ambulation and transfers.
• Drive clients to appointments and shopping.
• Assist with bathing and dressing.
