Caregiver (8:30am-2pm)
About The Position
Associated Home Care is hiring caregivers to provide compassionate, personalized care that helps seniors live safely and comfortably in their own homes while maintaining dignity and independence. The role may be performed as a Personal Care Assistant (PCA), Home Health Aide (HHA), or Homemaker (HMK). Caregivers assist with household tasks and daily personal care, offer companionship, provide medication reminders, and document clients’ activities and well-being. The posting offers full-time, part-time, or per-diem work across multiple locations in Massachusetts, with flexible scheduling.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED.
- Valid driver’s license, car insurance, and reliable transportation.
- Pass a criminal background check.
- Compassionate, patient, and dependable personality.
Nice To Haves
- HHA certificate or CNA license; training is provided.
- Open availability is strongly preferred.
- Previous experience as a CNA, PCA, Homemaker, or Companion.
Responsibilities
- Assist clients with light housekeeping, errands, meal preparation, grocery shopping, and transportation.
- Provide personal care, including bathing, dressing, mobility support, and incontinence care.
- Offer companionship and conversation to promote emotional well-being.
- Provide medication reminders as needed.
- Document daily activities, client well-being, and changes in condition.
