About The Position

Brookdale is hiring a Caregiver to provide direct care to residents, recognize their individual needs, encourage independence, and treat each senior with respect and dignity. The role includes assisting with activities of daily living and personal care, helping with light housekeeping, and engaging residents in meaningful conversations. Depending on state regulations, training or certification may be required. The listed schedule is 6 a.m. to 2 p.m. Brookdale offers opportunities for career advancement, including positions such as Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA/STNA) and Medication Technician (QMAP).

Responsibilities

Provide direct care to residents while recognizing individual needs, encouraging independence, and treating each senior with respect and dignity.
Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and other personal care needs.
Help residents with vacuuming, dusting, sweeping, mopping, and dishes.
Engage residents in meaningful conversations and provide attentive care.
