About The Position
We are seeking a Caregiver to join our team and make a difference in the lives of people with disabilities by enhancing their quality of life. The role includes assisting with personal hygiene and dressing, mobility, meal preparation, light housekeeping, medication, companionship, errands, and supporting clients through aggressive behaviors, meltdowns, and outbursts. The ideal candidate is patient, compassionate, reliable, respectful, and ethical.
Requirements
- First aid and CPR certification.
- Knowledge of basic housekeeping tasks and cooking skills.
- Ability to adhere to health and safety guidelines.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to lift heavy objects.
- Compassionate, respectful, and ethical.
Nice To Haves
- Previous experience as a Caregiver, Home Health Aide, or in a similar role is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Assist with personal hygiene needs and dressing.
- Assist with mobility, walking, and physical therapy exercises.
- Prepare meals and snacks.
- Perform light housekeeping activities.
- Dispense medication.
- Provide companionship.
- Assist with errands and shopping.
- Care for clients with aggressive behaviors.
