About The Position

Caregivers support people with developmental goals and help them grow, learn, and live well. The role involves building meaningful relationships, supporting participants’ community involvement and favorite activities, and assisting with goals such as budgeting, exercise, and nutrition. Caregivers also assist with personal hygiene and support individuals who may have behavioral challenges and other complex needs. The position is described as an overnight rotating shift from 8 p.m. to 8 a.m., with every other Friday, Saturday, and Sunday off.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• A valid driver’s license and access to a registered vehicle with proof of insurance.
• Communication, adaptability, multitasking, teamwork, and time-management skills.
• Patient, compassionate, reliable, and responsible behavior.

Nice To Haves

• Six months of experience in human services, direct care, or care coordination is preferred.
