Caregiver - Direct Support Professional (DSP)
About The Position
BAYADA Home Health Care is hiring Caregiver - Direct Support Professionals to provide one-on-one care for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in their homes in Blowing Rock and the surrounding area. The role helps individuals build confidence, strengthen everyday skills, and live more independently. Caregivers support daily routines and personal care, encourage life skills and independence, provide consistent companionship, and help clients engage at home and in the community. The position offers weekly pay, flexible scheduling, client assignments close to home, paid time off, 24/7 clinical support, and opportunities for scholarships and career growth. Requirements
- At least 1 year of experience supporting individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Flexibility to work a variety of shifts and locations.
- Reliable transportation.
- Ability to drive clients to activities.
- Willingness to travel between clients within the assigned area.
