About The Position

BAYADA is hiring Caregiver - Direct Support Professionals to provide one-on-one care for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in their homes in Blowing Rock and the surrounding area. The role focuses on building confidence, strengthening everyday skills, and supporting individuals to live more independently. DSPs help with daily routines and personal care, encourage life-skill development, offer consistent companionship, and support participation at home and in the community.

The position starts at $15 per hour and offers weekly pay, flexible scheduling, and a variety of shifts and locations. BAYADA aims to match caregivers with clients close to home, with commute times targeted at 30 minutes or less. Requirements

• At least 1 year of experience supporting individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
• High school diploma or equivalent; applicants must be 18 or older.
• Flexibility to work a variety of shifts and locations.
• Reliable transportation and ability to drive clients to activities.
• Willingness to travel between clients within the assigned area.
