About The Position
Amada Senior Care is hiring caregivers in Bridge City, Texas, and surrounding communities. Caregivers provide compassionate, non-medical assistance tailored to clients’ individual needs, helping seniors and veterans remain safe, comfortable, and independent in their homes. The role offers full-time and part-time opportunities, with flexible scheduling and weekend and overnight shifts available.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of caregiving experience.
- Reliable transportation.
- Ability to work independently and responsibly.
- Compassionate, dependable, patient, and professional demeanor.
- Willingness to pass a background check and drug screening.
Nice To Haves
- Familiarity with gait belts and Hoyer lifts.
Responsibilities
- Assist clients with personal care and activities of daily living.
- Provide companionship and emotional support.
- Help clients with mobility, transfers, and ambulation.
- Prepare meals and perform light housekeeping.
- Provide medication reminders.
- Transport clients to appointments and errands.
- Monitor client safety and overall well-being.
- Encourage independence and help maintain daily routines.
