Caregiver/ CNA- Full Time
About The Position
Stay in Home Care & Medical Staffing is hiring full-time Caregivers / Home Health Aides to provide quality, personalized care to individuals in their homes in Milford, Iowa, and surrounding areas. Caregivers help seniors and individuals with disabilities maintain independence, dignity, safety, and quality of life. CNA certification is preferred but not required; applicants with caregiving experience and those with a genuine interest in helping others are welcome. Shifts vary based on client needs. Pay is competitive and based on experience, qualifications, and certifications, and is paid bi-weekly. Insurance benefits are available to eligible full-time employees. Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Compassionate, reliable, patient, and professional.
- Ability to work independently and follow individualized care plans.
- Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license, when applicable.
- Proof of automobile insurance, when applicable.
- Dependable attendance and commitment to providing consistent care.
Nice To Haves
- CNA certification is preferred but not required.
- Previous caregiving or healthcare experience is preferred but not required.
- Experience working with seniors or individuals with disabilities is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Assist clients with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and personal hygiene.
- Provide companionship, emotional support, and encouragement.
- Assist with meal preparation and daily household activities.
- Perform light housekeeping, including laundry and maintaining a clean, safe living environment.
- Provide mobility assistance and support with daily routines.
- Observe and report changes in clients’ health, behavior, or overall well-being.
- Maintain accurate documentation of care provided.
- Respect client privacy and maintain confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA guidelines.
- Promote client independence, safety, and dignity.
- Follow individualized care plans to provide consistent, quality care.
