About The Position

ComForCare Home Care - Contra Costa West is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Caregiver/CNA to provide high-quality, personalized in-home care to clients in Orinda, California. Requirements

Current CNA certification or equivalent caregiver experience is preferred.
Ability to work 12-hour shifts, including days, nights, or weekends.
CPR/First Aid certification, or willingness to obtain it.
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
Strong communication skills and a compassionate, patient demeanor.
Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.

Nice To Haves

Experience with elderly, disabled, or memory care clients.

Responsibilities

Provide personal care assistance, including bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting.
Assist clients with mobility, transfers, and ambulation as needed.
Monitor and document client health status, and report changes to appropriate personnel.
Prepare meals and assist with feeding in accordance with dietary needs.
Perform light housekeeping to maintain a safe and comfortable home environment.
Offer companionship and emotional support to clients and their families.
Provide medication reminders and follow individualized care plans.
