About The Position

The Care Partner supports residents at Vitalia Highland Heights by creating human connections and providing empathetic, dependable care. The role assists residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, eating, and oral care, and helps residents with sitting, standing, and walking, including assistance after a fall. The Care Partner is expected to contribute to an inclusive, positive environment, remain engaged in training and development, and communicate with residents in English. This is a full-time position in Highland Heights, Ohio, with a pay range of $18–$24 per hour. The schedule is 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.: Week 1 on Monday, Saturday, and Sunday; Week 2 on Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday.

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years of age.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Ability to read, write, understand, and communicate in English with residents.
Positive and energetic attitude and enthusiasm for working with residents.
Computer skills sufficient to print documents and enter resident information.
Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and stoop throughout the day.
Ability to frequently lift and/or move items weighing up to 50 pounds.
Ability to assist residents with sitting, standing, and walking, and to assist persons after a fall.
Must be criminally cleared.
