About The Position

The Care Partner supports residents at Vitalia Strongsville in Strongsville, Ohio, by providing compassionate assistance and creating human connections during vulnerable moments. The role promotes an inclusive, positive environment and requires a proactive approach to helping residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, eating, and oral care. Care Partners are expected to be dependable, engaged in their own development and training, and committed to residents, coworkers, and the community. This is a full-time overnight position scheduled from 7:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m. The schedule alternates between Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday one week, and Monday, Saturday, and Sunday the next. Pay is $18–$24 per hour.

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years of age.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Ability to read, write, understand, and communicate in English with residents.
Positive and energetic attitude and enthusiasm for working with residents.
Computer skills sufficient to print documents and enter resident information.
Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and stoop throughout the day.
Ability to frequently lift and/or move items up to 50 pounds.
Must be criminally cleared.
