Care Partner 7am-7pm $18-24 (Full Time)
About The Position
The Care Partner supports residents at Vitalia Highland Heights in Highland Heights, Ohio, by assisting with activities of daily living and creating human connections during vulnerable moments. The role calls for empathy, dependability, a positive and inclusive attitude, and engagement in ongoing development and training. Care Partners help residents with bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, eating, and oral care, as well as sitting, standing, walking, and assistance after a fall. The position is full-time, scheduled from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. on a rotating two-week schedule: Monday, Saturday, and Sunday in week one; Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday in week two. Pay is $18–$24 per hour.
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to read, write, understand, and communicate in English with residents.
- Positive and energetic attitude and enthusiasm for working with residents.
- Computer skills sufficient to print documents and enter resident information.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and stoop throughout the day.
- Ability to frequently lift and/or move items weighing up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to assist residents with sitting, standing, and walking, and to assist persons after a fall.
- Must be criminally cleared.
Responsibilities
