About The Position

Arrow Senior Living manages a collection of senior living communities that offer varying levels of care including independent living, assisted living, and memory care in 25 properties currently in 5 states (Missouri, Iowa, Illinois, Ohio, Indiana) and employs nearly 1,400 employees! This position is for a Care Partner at The Kentridge Senior Living located at 5241 Sunnybrook Rd. Kent, Ohio 44240. The role requires an "Advocate of Empathy" to create human connection with residents, a "Generous Gift Giver" to be present and share talents, someone who is "💯" to create an inclusive and positive environment, an "Engaged Egghead" to be curious and engaged in development, and to be "Proactive" in assisting residents with activities of daily living (ADL) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, eating, and oral care.

Requirements

At least eighteen (18) years of age.
High school diploma, or equivalent.
Read, write, understand, and communicate in English with our Residents.
Positive and energetic attitude.
Computer skills to be able to print documents and enter information about our Residents.
Criminally cleared.

Responsibilities

Create human connection with residents during their most vulnerable moments.
Be present and share your talents.

Be curious, ask questions, and be engaged in your development, growth, and training within the organization.
Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADL) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, eating, and oral care.
Standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and stooping all day.
Frequently lift and/or move items up to 50 pounds.
Assist residents with sitting, standing, and walking, as well as assisting persons after a fall.
