About The Position

As a Care Partner in Sunrise Senior Living’s Terrace Club neighborhood, you provide personalized, relationship-based care to a consistent group of residents and help create meaningful, successful days. You provide hands-on care and emotional support according to each resident’s Individualized Service Plan (ISP), serve as a trusted advocate and consistent presence, and build strong relationships that enhance residents’ quality of life. The role also supports daily programs, dining, housekeeping, and laundry while promoting safety, dignity, and Resident Rights.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Compassionate, patient, and dependable.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to remain calm and make sound decisions.
• CNA/HHA certification as required by state; required in New Jersey.

Nice To Haves

• Experience working with seniors is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on care and emotional support based on each resident’s Individualized Service Plan (ISP).
• Partner with residents through prompting, cueing, and reminders.
• Observe, document, and report changes in residents’ condition.
• Support daily programs and meaningful engagement activities.
• Assist with dining, housekeeping, and laundry services.
• Promote safety, dignity, and Resident Rights at all times.
• Communicate regularly with families and care leadership.
• Follow infection control, OSHA, and safety standards.
• Serve as a trusted advocate and consistent presence for residents.
