About The Position

At Sunrise Senior Living, the Care Manager helps champion quality of life for seniors by providing hands-on support and building meaningful relationships with residents. The role focuses on supporting residents’ daily care needs while promoting safety, dignity, and independence. Care Managers follow individualized service plans, document changes, engage residents in conversation and activities, and communicate with families and care leaders. In Memory Care, they help create enriching experiences for residents with memory loss.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Must be age 18 or older.
• CPR/First Aid certification, or ability to obtain it.
• Compassion, reliability, and strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, mobility, and personal care.
• Follow Individualized Service Plans (ISP) and document changes.
• Promote residents’ safety, dignity, and independence.
• Engage residents through conversation and daily activities.
• Support dining services and maintain a clean, welcoming environment.
• Communicate effectively with families and care leaders.
• In Memory Care, create enriching experiences for residents with memory loss.
