About The Position

The Care Manager (CNA) assists residents with daily living needs according to each resident’s care plan. Duties include personal care, food service, housekeeping, laundry, behavior management, socialization, and activities. This part-time, hourly, non-exempt position is scheduled for the second shift, from 2:30 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. The role reports to the Health & Wellness Director and pays $22.00 per hour.

Requirements

• Certified Nursing Assistant or Certified Home Health Aid.
• Ability to perform the physical duties described, including lifting or carrying up to 50 pounds and intermittent lifting and supporting of residents.
• Must use proper body mechanics.

Nice To Haves

• Knowledge and experience working with the elderly population.
• Dementia experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide resident care, including bathing, dressing, toileting, and feeding, as outlined in care plans.
• Maintain residents’ safety, comfort, dignity, and confidentiality.
• Escort residents to meals and activities.
• Ensure assigned residents are clean, neatly dressed and groomed, safe, and fed during assigned shifts.
• Document all services provided to assigned residents during the shift.
• Immediately report any change in a resident’s condition to a supervisor.
