Care Assistant
About The Position
Avista is a person-centred, rights-based organisation supporting children and adults with disabilities. The Care Assistant will work in the Community Residential Service in Limerick, supporting people with intellectual disabilities and their families in a person-centred, community-based and socially inclusive manner, in line with Avista’s values and ethos and with an emphasis on quality, best practice and research. The advertised opportunities include permanent full-time (39 hours per week), permanent part-time and relief contracts. The campaign may also create a panel for future full-time, part-time, permanent or temporary vacancies across Avista services. Salary is €34,881–€48,434 (LSI), subject to relevant public-sector experience and pro-rated for hours worked.
Requirements
- Minimum FETAC Level 5 in Healthcare Support or equivalent.
- Full clean manual Irish driving licence.
- Proficiency in the English language.
