About The Position

Cardiovascular Technologist – Echo Tech (Travel) in York, Maine, United States. This is a 13-week travel assignment with a start date of 09/07/2026. The role is in a hospital environment, supporting the cardiology team with weekend call responsibilities. The position offers guaranteed hours and competitive weekly pay.

Requirements

Active ARDMS or CCI credential as RDCS or RCS; current registry preferred. If not yet registered, registry must be obtained within 12 months of employment.
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification current or obtainable within the preliminary employment period.
Proficiency in adult echocardiography, including TTE, stress echo, and TEE.
Ability to work in a hospital setting and participate in weekend on-call rotation.
Demonstrated experience performing echocardiography and supporting department operations.

Responsibilities

Perform echocardiography examinations, including transthoracic (TTE), stress echo, and transesophageal (TEE) imaging, to obtain high-quality diagnostic data.
Prepare patients and imaging equipment, explain procedures, and ensure accurate imaging for physician interpretation.
Maintain proper documentation, archiving of studies, and adherence to hospital and practice standards of care.
Provide patient/caregiver education and advocate for the patient within the care team; support age-specific, individualized care.
Demonstrate competency in all echocardiography modalities as guided by ARDMS/CCI credentials; maintain BLS and infection control knowledge.
Collaborate with providers, practice leadership, and clinical staff to support timely patient flow and quality care; participate in weekend on-call as assigned.
