Responsibilities

Perform echocardiography studies to image heart muscle, cardiac chambers, valves, and vessels.
Create, optimize, and acquire high-quality images for assessment of heart function and structure.
Operate ultrasound equipment, monitor patient safety, and position patients for optimal imaging.
Collaborate closely with cardiologists, handling the technical aspects of examinations, evaluating findings, and reporting results.
Document exam results clearly and assist with interpretation as directed by the cardiology team.
Maintain equipment, adherence to infection control standards, and ensure proper specimen handling and documentation.
